college students, Bigwords.com is a conventient sort of search site that rifles through all sorts of online stores and ads looking for the text books you need, newest edition, you can look specifically for used books or ones with a buyback program, and stuff. and can be a lot cheaper, saved me $400 one semester
Can we amplify this a little please? I’m sure some of my followers could use this resource. Spread it around friends.
bigwords.com was the only way i could afford my textbooks each semester. i can’t love this site enough. please give it a try!
New York Cares is holding a coat drive; it’s been going on for a while now, but if the countless emails I get from them are any indication, the demand of coats is much higher than the overall supply. If you’re in the NY area, consider donating some coats today.
Here’s a link of the site. Check it out!
Ooohh Just Dance! I have never played that but I’ve seen a vid of these three teens doing it better than the CPU they had to “follow.” It looks awesome!
FIREWORKS! I love exploding things at New Years! When I was in the Philippines a few years ago we couldn’t see clearly for a while because the whole sky was covered in smoke (actually, the year I went, the number of deaths by firework accidents was down due to it sprinkling a little, but it didn’t stop us).
I go back January 18 or 19. I think my parents want me to leave on the latter date so they can have me for themselves a little bit more. :P
Hi there! We’re going to a New Year’s party. My sister and I are gonna play a violin duet! I haven’t played since I moved back to college in August, so I’m a little rusty, but I’m working on it. :)
How about you? Hope you have a fantastic new year!
Thank you! Merry Christmas to you! :)
I’m so glad you’re my SS. You’re so nice!
It’s my dad’s birthday today, so we went out to celebrate. However I think I’m allergic to my own house because I keep having these sneeze attacks. >.
Oh nice! How does classic Who compare to modern? I’ve watched neither. And Fairy Tail! My friends have been trying to get me to watch it but I haven’t yet. Tell me how it is!
Ooh what other shows do you watch? There is a lot to do here, so much that I feel like I’m missing out
Ohh don’t worry about it! My last final was good! I had two take-homes due yesterday so I didn’t study as much as I wanted to for history, but I was studying all last week which definitely helped.
Today, after food and sleep, I’m gonna go to NYPL and drop off a textbook as well as borrow another book that I’d actually have time to read. Then I’m gonna visit a little I’m in charge of at church and then binge watch Legend of Korra Book Two tonight. For the rest of the week and the weekend, I’m staying over my friend’s house in Queens, and then I’m going home just in time for my dad’s birthday. During the break I plan on getting internship applications done and volunteering at the town library. :)
What about you? Is it snowing where you’re at?
